Despite the economic challenges faced by Americans in recent years, WCF donors have continued to help the Fund remain financially stable. Although many non-profits face the prospect of cutting services due to financial shortfalls, our donor network of private individuals, San Francisco city employees and others have generously supported the children served by WCF. Fundraising for the Workers’ Children’s Fund is accomplished through various methods. The Fund has 501(c)(3) non-profit status, and receives numerous donations from private individuals on an ongoing basis. In addition, several annual fundraising events have become a familiar part of the landscape in San Francisco’s social services network. The WCF is a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status.
