WCF's James Dugish Scholarship Fund
The Workers’ Children’s Fund’s James Dugish Scholarship Fund, named for a much-beloved social worker and supervisor from San Francisco DHS who is now deceased, provides modest financial
assistance to college-age students that are now receiving, or have received services from DHS. The scholarship is intended to supplement a student’s funding, to help with any uncovered expenses, including
those small extras which they may not otherwise by able to afford, such as books, clothing, late-night pizza during a study session, or participation in extracurricular activities.
